Phyle is a transnational community who builds a democratic economic structure by itself in order to develop its own autonomy.

Las Indias' phyle in a nutsell
Real Community
When we say «community» we are not talking about «imagined communities» as race, class, gender or nation, we mean «real community», a distributed network where everybody knows each other.
But every distributed social network is not a community. Community starts only after a deliberative process is stablished through a distributed social network. Deliberation produces two effects in time through one or some parts of the network:
- Pleasure for discussing/being together
- Identity: based in common values means that if I recognize myself as a part of the community, the people I identify as community members will recognize me as a community member too.
This two characteristics together is what we call fraternity and fraternity is the starting point of every real community.
Community definition
Real community is not homogeneus, actually it has an «onion structure»
The «real community» behind the phyle is formed by the «indianos» -who work in indiano cooperatives dedicated to the maintenance and development of the phyle system-, the people who is developing their integration process, autonomous persons who are regular providers and collaborators of our economic structure and de members of associated cooperatives.
Out of the phyle we have our real enviroment made by those parts of every indiano «real community» that in principle is not shared with the other members. It is composed of our families, friends, neighbours, etc... and, it is not a deliberative community by itself.
Anyway real enviroment is recognized as a very important part of the live of every indiano and the community as a whole. We reserve not just weekends, evenings and hollydays for them but we also recognized them as a legit source of economic needs for every indiano. In example, if an indiano's parents has a problem with their mortage it is not an individual but a community problem, if an indiano's couple gets unemployed the money the indiano will need will automatically increase, etc...
Even further of the phyle's core, we also have an small investment fund for «artisan enterpreneurs»: people from our «real enviroment» who try to build by themselves a non cooperative business informed with some values we share. We invest in them as much as the 10% of the total capital they need.
Past and future
The Indianos' Phyle is the result of the evolution of the Spanish language Cyberpunk group (1989-2006). Although the Indian organization system is constantly evolving, we have been living and working in phyle logic since 2002.

The overall objective is to establish a resilient transnational social space sustained on the principle of economic democracy with the highest possible spaces for pluriarchy in everyday life. Our long-term goals focus on developing social cohesion and building the material basis of freedom and development whererever we have «Casas de Indias» or Indianos's bases.
